This is the story of Julissa Bella and her wicked stepmother and sisters: Patience, Charity and Vanity. What a fun teen "fairytale" with a lots of twists. My favourite parts are the scenes with the mean sisters lounging around, drinking 'plasma' smoothies and making Julissa (Jewel) work hard. The fairy godmother rocks and the hotties - Marco and Riff kept me guessing! What a fun story, hope there will be more of these.Product details

I loved Pride and Princesses and Anne Eyre both by Summer Day so I was intrigued to read this. What a perfect companion piece to the previous full length novels Summer has written. This is the classic tale but set in a house (and school) full of vampires. there is also a bit of a question about which of the hot boys is the Prince - loved Bellacinderella.
I really enjoyed reading this fast moving, cute, vampirical "teenage fairy tale" (a novella) inspired by Cinderella. Jewel, a 'normal' girl (who just happens to be really pretty) gets sent to live with her wicked step family (vampires with magical powers). Trapped inside the Bella-Minchin mansion, Jewel needs to draw on her very own brand of magic to attract the new boy - Marco - at her stepsister's birthday ball. Marco may or may not be a prince, then there's mysterious Riff who may or may not be a vampire... There is a lot more to this story than I first thought and it's up there with Snow Bright, the other of Summer's "high school fairy tales" - both amazing
The book was okay. It had a lot of words spell wrong. But . I Just didn't care for it much even though it was free.
I like the vampires but not the ending but what happens next I want to . Know what do the parents think
I liked the way Summer took the worn out tale of Cinderella and revived it in this short story. I wish there was a little bit more, though.
